Hi, I'm Ja'Nae, the founder of Sapphic Sail.

 

I've always been the one planning the trip—the one with the spreadsheet, the itinerary, and the restaurant reservations made three months out. Travel has been my passion for as long as I can remember, the thing I saved for and lit up talking about.

 

But somewhere along the way, I noticed I was doing a lot of work just to enjoy myself. I was researching safety, reading between the lines of reviews, and scanning lobbies, wondering how much of myself I could bring.

I got so good at it I stopped noticing I was doing it.

 

Then, searching for a solo, luxury trip for women who wouldn't need an explanation, I found nothing. Either it wasn't for sapphic women, or it wasn't for women who look like me.

 

So, I created Sapphic Sail. We center women of color from day one. By booking space on Virgin Voyages, we create our own world of private parties, mixers, and beach days where you can finally just be.

 

Most book solo, but none leave that way.
